On March 28, 2019, the Airports of Ukraine Association (AAUCA) and Kharkiv International Airport hosted a meeting of airport managers, airlines, and experts on aviation and airport activities of AAUCA.
The event brought together more than 30 top managers and owners of airports – AAUCA members, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, and the State Enterprise UkSATSE.
The meeting addressed problematic, pressing issues related to the development and implementation of legal and regulatory acts that ensure the economic feasibility and attractiveness of airports, the development of air transportation in Ukraine and their compliance with European standards.
The event featured a number of experts, including Alexander Kirichenko, Head of Aviation Risk Management at Innovative Insurance Capital PJSC, who delivered a presentation entitled “Justification of Airport Liability Limits as an Element of Airport Risk Management”.
At the end of the meeting, all participants were given the opportunity to experience the reality of flying on a simulator and directly on a Diamond 42 aircraft and to inspect the control tower at Kharkiv Airport.
